Active Tunes I-Ride Pro

Cost: $59.99

Review:

It attaches to the handlebars with a Velcro system, which Mr. Dorn fretted about. (“It felt very iffy.”) First he tried his 30GB iPod classic and found that the unit’s weight made the speakers shift. Then he tried a lightweight iPod Nano, and the i-Ride Pro seemed more secure. Mr. Dorn praised the “smart, compact design and good sound quality” and noted that a “versatile auxiliary plug” seemed to allow a connection “to any portable music player.”

Robert-

That is SO WEIRD! I’ll see if I can give them a call and see what’s up. Did you order it from them or through another website?

Same thing…I ordered and paid for an i ride pro 3 weeks ago…still no delivery. Beginning to think I have been the victim of a fraud….please let me know what you find out…

BTW…that is not the “Pro” above. That photo is of the “Classic” which is less powerful and less expensive, and not rechargeable.

OMG…I just received it today!

Been waiting over a month for replacement speakers. I have called and no call back. Are they still in business?

I placed an order November 17th and it is now December 9th and no product, no returned call or returned email. Everytime I call I am connected with their answering service (btw the answering service is very polite and professional – wish I could say the same about the company and their customer service). With the holidays fast approaching not to mention a birthday (this is to be the birthday gift) I am beginning to wonder if I made the right chioce in selecting this item.

Follow up to previous post…I called again today to check on the status of my order…again I had the pleasure of speaking with the answering service . Now 6 voice messages, and six emails…no resply. I called PayPal and to my surprise I was able to file a dispute with PayPal..they withdrew my total payment, will hold it for a period of 10 days and notify Active Tunes that this issue exists. Active Tunes has two choices, 1) address the issue, provide a delivery date and/or tracking number or 2) should they ignor the dispute they are out the money and PayPal will credit it back to my cc. So to those of you who have ordered from Active Tunes and paid via PayPal you do have options to help resolve your problem.

Good luck!

Tried ordering two times. Can’t get anyone to answer or write. Are they out of business?
